Crazy Hormones

Last night, I was sitting there in bed snuggled up with my honey, when he told me to stop tickling his leg -- I had my head on his stomach so my hand was sitting on his thigh, which apparently tickled. Needless to say, I began to actually tickle him instead of moving my hand. After making him laugh like a 3 year old, he said "leave me alone," which of coarse I knew meant "stop tickling me!!!!" But being a crazy pregnant lady, my jokingly saying "that wasn't nice" and turning away from him resulted in me sobbing. The nice and caring hubby that he is, apologized for his choice of words and asked that I please not leave him "alone-alone" just ticklish-alone and asked if I was really crying or if I was okay. My answer, "BOTH!"
I then proceeded to continue the crying uncontrollably while laughing! I was laughing because I knew it was a stupid thing to cry about, and yet I couldn't stop the crying. I was laughing because I was grateful he cared enough to see that maybe he'd picked the wrong choice of words. I was laughing because I felt stupid for laughing and crying at the same time...not laughing so much it was making me cry, more the other way around.
He tried to get me to go out to sit on the couch while he got me a glass of water to replenish all the fluid my eyes had stolen from the poor little baby inside of me. Since we live with my MIL and brother-in-law, I kept trying to convince him there was no way I was going out there looking like "this." Too many questions I didn't want to answer! I finally gave in and hid my face behind a blanket I carried out to the couch and snuggled up to watch a recorded episode of ABC's "Once Upon a Time" which seems to be a pretty good show. We caught up on Season One over the course of a week thanks to Netflix. Thankfully, neither his mom or his brother came out to see my intensely reddened eyes or runny nose. Unfortunately, I had to sit through the smell of the NASTY Totino's Pizza my hubs decided to snack on.

Pean-utoh Butter Fudge

I discovered a recipe for peanut butter fudge on Pinterest yesterday....boy was that a mistake. I didn't pin it because the link went nowhere and can't even find it when I searched later, the words were all included in the picture.

The recipe:
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
Bring to boil, boil for 2-3 minutes, Remove from heat
add
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
cool

UMM are you kidding me!? EASY PEASY

Thought it was too good to be true but figured I'd risk it. BIG MISTAKE.
The stuff is AMAZING. My kids, husband, and I devoured it in no time. And since it was soooooo easy...I whipped up another batch...boy am I in for some weight gain or what?

It's been awhile...

I've been busy chasing my three adorable children, and being addicted to Pinterest! I've decided I need a camera so I can post pics of my attempts at things I make from there haha.

Brian and I just had our fifth anniversary on Saturday. My parents watched the kids and B and I went to a Mexican restaurant called Macayo's and then went to the dine in theater and saw the movie, The Lucky One, while sharing popcorn and Shirley Temples. It was our first date that was more than an hour long, without a kid with us! As for reviews, the food was just eh, the movie was cute. Just sappy enough to be a good movie to go see with the girls, just funny enough to be a good date movie.

Jeremiah is now 4 and about the best big brother a girl could ask for. Jenna is 2.5 and will be starting dance classes this summer over at Arizona Dance Artistry. Sierra will be one at the end of this month and is a little ball of fire!

Utah here we come!

But just for a visit. :(

Next weekend we're heading up to Provo for a family reunion and get to catch a friends wedding reception while we're there. That was nice timing. I will HOPEFULLY get to see some of the friends I've been missing for the last few years. Maybe get to introduce them to my offspring. haha.

I'll get to escape the nearly 110 degrees in exchange for a measly 80 for a few days, just to come back to an expected 112 the following week. OH JOY!!

forever and a day

So, my husband and I got sealed for time and all eternity in the Mesa Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, in late September. Our daughter Jenna was born October 12th. My parents-in-law got started on a divorce just about Christmas time. Jeremiah is now two years old. Brian works at Apollo Group for University of Phoenix in tech support....ooooo fun! haha. aaagh! my baby has gotten his first tooth! and finished his first set of swim lessons too! time is flying by so fast.

i'm still trying to figure out some sort of thing to do for my business. i have nearly always dreamed of owning my own business, but i have no clue what kind of business i want, let alone what would survive in todays economy.

peanut butter jelly time

More than a year later....I am married and have a four month old baby boy. We live in Phoenix, Arizona. Since leaving BYU I have moved 7 times and will be moving again this Friday. My full legal name now consists of 5 names: 1 first, 2 middle, and 2 last. It took one of the supervisors at the MDV about 25 minutes to figure out how to get my name to fit on my drivers license.

By the way, diaper boxes come in handy for packing. We are moving from "little mexico" Phoenix, to a little more upscale, you-can-actually-take-your-kid-for-a-walk-outside-of-the-apartment-complex side of town. AND we may be moving to SLC come July. The new complex has 3 pools which will come in handy considering our record high days like the beautiful 108 today with a forcasted 109 tomorrow.
