I'll be your distraction

Ever have something stuck in your head...not necessarily a bad thing...but something you would rather not have be stuck in there? Well I most certainly have, and it's not fun. I have no problem thinking about this thing but i think it might have a problem with how often it's stuck in my head. Really doesn't help when your roommate keeps mentioning it.

Today makes day three of feeling like I was going to pass out. The occasional blackout upon standing up, dizziness, and being a bit on the shaky side. I intended to sleep through one of my classes and somehow wound up sleeping through all 7 hours worth of them. I found it quite ironic that I got an e-card from my parents today asking if I've been drinking enough water, and they don't even know what's going on. I guess the fact that it takes me about 4 or 5 days to finish a half liter water bottle could be a good reason why.

On to happier things! Only two days left of work this week, I still need to find a new, or second job. I finally got my four loads of laundry done, but there was no emptying of warm dryers.....my clothes were ICE COLD when I got them out after work and socializing. I need to get around to finishing some of my many books that I have lying around; maybe I'll bring one to work and read it on my hours and hours of downtime :P...

The snow is amazing! I haven't lived in the snow since I was four and it's great to be back! What a shame I don't have any weather appropriate wear, i.e. gloves, jacket, something other than jeans.... My hiking boots luckily have been doing pretty well. I now get to shovel snow, rather than sweep leaves, from the sidewalks and parking lots at work. We have a Christmas tree in the window of our apartment that stands about 3 feet tall; it's quite the cozy feeling, especially since we finally decided to turn the heater on upon realizing it doesn't affect our electricity bill!

Well time to watch yet another movie! Everything you Want sounds like a good one for now. Have a great day! Don't die!

I liked a football game! Who woulda guessed that?

So, Saturday consisted of waking up and realizing it was already one something in the afternoon and the big game started at 1:30, getting ready and running over to watch the game with some guys in the ward...the big game being the Holy War...BYU vs. U of U....then going out to the spaghetti factory and rushing home to meet up with someone to go rock climbing, finding out I was no longer going rock climbing, and going back over to the guys apt. where I'd watched the game to watch The Village, and an edited, i.e. someone fast forwarding through parts, Night at the Roxbury. Sunday consisted or waking up and getting ready to go to church for a multi ward combined sacrament meeting in which I was asked to give the benediction, being told I had to make a budget for someone else in the ward to review, and moving into my roommates room and moving her into mine, followed by watching a little Oscar. That's it so far...I'm off to watch the movie...so laters!

In a galaxy far, far away....

So, one of my FHE sisters invited me to go pig out with her family for this feast we call a holiday. Her grandparents totally rock! We had dinner, watched Irving Berlin's White Christmas, then played a few rounds of Rook, followed by some speed scrabble, and then some Settlers of Catan...It was a blast. Then they invited me to join them tomorrow, to go see the new Work and the Glory III movie, and go eat leftovers and play more games. And to think, I almost stayed in my apartment for Thanksgiving and had my feast consist of my choice of Top Ramen or cereal! Ok....Back to finishing off the original Star Wars trilogy!

In the sky! It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a...blog?

So, I've now decided to join the world of bloggers, with the exception of the portion of that world which I'd previously joined via the infamous Myspace.com. This being my first blog...let's see, what to put?

Let's start with the "who am I?" I'm currently a BYU student (freshman) who started Summer '06. I live on movies; if I start to get bored, and I've already read the http://theboard.byu.edu, I'll just pull out a movie, or run to one of the neighbors and borrow a movie from them (i.e. I'm currently watching the original Star Wars trilogy.) I happen to be a member of the female portion of society, i.e. the better portion of it. :-p.

Well, considering it's Thanksgiving, and one of my FHE sisters is picking me up to go to her grandparent's for dinner, I should get going!

Love Always, ME!
